Welcome

Welcome to thrownultimate.com: home of the Kings College London Ultimate Frisbee Club 'Thrown'.

Ultimate Frisbee is a fast paced sport played by an ever-growing university community. You can find out more about the sport in the What Is Ultimate Section.

Thrown is still a relatively young club, having only been founded in 2003 but since then we've grown to become a well established team in the South East region: qualifying for university nationals in the last two years and finishing 8th in Div2 nationals this year.

We're keen to nurture new talent and we want to continue to compete at the top level. We welcome players of all abilities, from complete beginners to hardened veterans and we enter both university and club level tournaments, indoor and outdoor throughout the year.

During the summer season we play for our club team 'Flump' or beach team 'Laywatch'. You can find out more about these teams in the Associated Teams Section. All our teams are open to both sexes as we play in men's, women's as well as mixed tournaments.

Feel free to contact us if you want to play for any of our teams, join us for a casual chuck about or just come down to our socials. If we're not someone's house party, we're in a park or a pub close to a park...

If you have any queries at all, don't hesitate to contact us.

Some players, whether through experience or natural talent, seem to understand what is happening on the field at all times. London winter league 2007 started off in classic fashion: early morning bus rides, and shitty weather! But isn’t that what we all love about winter league? The team for the day was an interesting mix of old school thrown, young blood and a dash of US pickup just for fun! Our first game was against…
