    Have a look at this!

Dave did it with rather meticulous methodology and has hence produced a rather good ranking system.

Yeah Thrown! (second best London team? Apparently so)

    WOMEN’S NATIONALS!

I just wanted to put it out there how massively proud I am of all the ladies who trooped up to coventry for nationals this weekend, and I think everyone else in the team should be too. In the face of much more experienced teams with more subs, everyone kept fighting, kept running, kept cutting, kept their spirits up and smiles on and never once looked outclassed.

    Special shoutous:

    1. Sana, for being the inspirational captain, always with positive words and the amazing ability to psyche the team up after what could have been demoralising games. For putting taking the team there and very importantly for bravely stepping up and being our handler the whole weekend. Even though you claim you weren’t confident in that position I don’t think anyone would have guessed thats not what you normally play.

    2. Lucie for trekking all the way over from Berlin. Though we met someone who had flown in from Boston I still think you’re incredible :D And of course for always reminding us to keep the smiles on our faces.

    3. Leish for letting us invade your house on the Saturday night, making all the transport arrangements and most importantly for the (scarily) enthusiastic choreography of what is possibly the best chant/dance in history.

    4. Cams for helping us redeem a little lost pride by being kickass at the calls, especially spicing up the ninja experience with the most amazing sound effects ever.

    5. Sue Wei for being the brave fresher and definitely holding your own at a national level tournament, with some massive Ds and scores.

    6. Megan for being the very important driver the whole weekend and shuttling us around in light of the very ill-timed taxi strikes.

Thanks girlies for such an awesome weekend! All you boys and girls who didn’t come to support definitely missed out on witnessing some incredible fighting spirit (and very massive servings of yummy birmingham balti). 20th best women’s team in the country baby!

i know this is a little belated, but just thought i’d put it out there that i really enjoyed myself over the weekend! so a big THANK YOU to the ladies for some red hot ultimate and of course as importantly to the lads for being the best sideline any womens’ team could ask for! (I dont think anyone else was playing fantasy frisbee with a can of stella in hand). I have fond memories of every womens’ tournament that i’ve ever been to and this definitely ranks pretty high up there (life stories, jaegerbombs etcetcetc). BIG LOVE TO ALL xx

p.s. i’m not gona forget the promises certain people made on friday about womens nationals! MARK YOUR CALENDARS GUYS no excuses this time (:

yeah womens! I didn’t intend to play this card but you all leave me with no choice. I cheered my heart and lungs out for you guys during open so you all should come along to womens to experience how fun supporting your team can be! I promise it’ll be good fun even if you just pop by for a while on the saturday or sunday we will all still fully appreciate the effort!

hopefully see you all there (: x

everyone should probably bring tons of warm clothes too cos the venue (essentially a very big tent) in reading tends to be freeeeezing cold.

and i’ll be bringing change to stock up on hot drinks from the vending machine too.
