No winter league tomorrow, so come support/shout at/heckle the ladies tomorrow. They were great today and having a few more people on the sideline would be top notch. (Decent shout out to Nishil and JP (from SB) who were there today)
I’m probably getting the 8.06 from kings cross, if any one else wants to be there for that, give us a call.
If not, make your own way there, (Hertfordshire Sports Village, AL10 9EU) at some point.
First game 9.20 and last game finishes half 12.

Right then thrown.
Tomorrow I’ll be heading over to HATFIELD (Hertfordshire Sports Village, AL10 9EU) to support our WOMENS TEAMS!
We’ve got 2 teams entered into regionals and having a load of us lot stood on the sideline shouting at them will be really good for them and jolly good fun.
The first game is at 9 o’clock. So I will be at KINGS CROSS at about 10 to 8. that is 7.50 to buy tickets etc and get the 08.11 train to hatfield.
Please come along! if you intend to, just drop me a text 07531772672 so i know to wait for people at the station.
It will be great fun, being a spectator is well good, its ace. brilliant!
If you want to come along at any point in the day that is great, tomorrows games finish before 2ish, so just come along at some point.

Right, as we’ve got no practice on saturday, I’m going to go support the ladies. I know a couple of other lads said they’d be up for it as well, it would be good to get as many of us there as possible, just to cheer on and heckle other teams.
I had a look at the schedule, first game is at 9 and last game is at 2 so its not even taking up loads of your day. No excuses not to go.

Howdy Thrown!

Unfortunately there will be no Saturday practice this weekend as the girls are playing at regionals and other Thrown members, myself included, aren’t about this weekend.

As you are now free on Saturday you can go and cheer on our Ladies this weekend, it’s always good to do a bit of sideline shouting ’YEAH THROWN’ to support your team mates! They are playing at St. Albans I do believe so not far, plus there will be loads of girls there

If you are in London and do want your weekend Ultimate fix, Flump normally train at 1:30 on Saturday (I will confirm if they are having a training later).

For those who have been living on a different planet and didn’t already know:

Wednesday practice, 1:30, Hyde Park, get on it like a car bonnet.

Despite the lack of a Thrown and dD social we may still be having some matches, which would be a great chance to show that we don’t just party hard but we play hard to!

I’ve had a particularly decadent Tuesday so I will be at hyde park early (1:00) to do some fitness exercises if any would like to join me.

Extra points for whoever goes drink stealing and ends up drinking someone’s vomit. Pat’s winning in that race. then we’ll go embarass ourselves at the blue eyed maid. i wonder why it is called the blue eyed maid? if you don’t know how to embarrass yourself there sprit/SKITZO can definitely teach you. also you are not allowed to go home before we head to guys bar! i dont want to hear any ’i need a shower’ nonsense. if youre not sweaty and smelly in guys bar then you don’t belong there.

our joint social with our good mates DD has sadly been postponed but only until march! because they have some league games that are keeping them busy this month. I don’t know when in March just yet, so make sure you’re free every wednesday so we can have another great night with the imperial lot. wicked!

oh and alllllllllso look out for an organised social that is a non-guys bar night that will probably be a bit like a cocktail night or fancy dress shenanigan. it will be super!

Saturday practice!!!! YEEEEAAAAAHHH!!!

Get to Hyde park about 1:45 get your boots on and have a chuck about, and we’ll get started bang on 2:00.

Ladies, don’t worry we haven’t forgotten about your upcoming indoor tournament so we’ll try and run through a few drills to help you out and Larry has volunteered to go through the indoor rules as well.

HEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOTHERS! SHIT THE BED

After last week where we absolutely ruined Imperial College London and found out what we always thought they were – shit and boring – this week we will be keeping it a bit more chilled and easy, so tomorrow night it’ll be a standard Guy’s bar. Attendance and snakebite is not compulsory as i realise that last week was quite expensive. Also I can’t make it but you are safe in the hands of Larry/Laz/Laurence/Bender. Plus you need to save yourselves as you won’t believe who have come crawling back to us for another social. After we humiliated the absolute shit out of them DD have asked for another social with us and requested we take them to Guys bar. This will likely be next Wednesday, so Wednesday 2nd of February. Attendance to this is compulsory. I think we can all agree we had great fun last week and there were bucket loads of us! So lets go for it again. Plus as we will be taking DD to our union bar lets make sure we have wicked numbers so we aren’t outdone or outdrunk. Wicked! See you all tomorrow in our well sexy kit!

On a quick note I would just like to thank Dan for sorting out the new kit, it looks epic! It takes A LOT of time and effort sorting out kit orders for everyone and haggling with french companies as well as hand delivering it at practice, so cheers Danny boy.

by the Thrown kit area. Let me know if they belong to you.

I just realised that te home would have looked even better if the white part of the shorts were the same colour as the light green on the bottom of the shirt! Quite happy with how kit turned out. How cool is this fabric?!
