Hey guys,

Last sunday’s Indoors was a really great session with 12 players allowing for two hours of hard games. The same should be hopefully happening this sunday as we need to get ready for the indoor season as soon as possible.

with that in mind EVERYONE MUST HAVE READ THROUGH THE INDOOR HANDBOOK. it only takes 10 minutes and I expect everyone to know what they are doing.
It can be found under the documents tab of the 10/11 group.

Hey Thrown,
Just letting you all know that I’ll be playing in Open Tour 1 for Flump in two weekends time (4th/5th June) and I encourage you all to join to. After playing frisbee all year in the wind, snow and rain, I think its about time we finally got the chance to play in some good weather don’t you? Also, this tournament is one of the few in London so its not far to travel

By the time the tournament comes:
- I will not have run in a few months
- I will not have thrown a frisbee in a few months
- I will have forgotten what a stack is
Therefore, you should not base your decision not to play on any of these reasons!

To answer adam’s query and for anybody else, there is no flump training tomorrow. Instead this wednesday (amnd pretty much every wednesday) there will be a match plauyed down in balham as part of LSL. All are welcome but you should really be signing upto the flump group to stay ahead of detais>

Just a reminder that you need to email me if you are inrested in coming to Burla this year (read my previous email to find out how awesome it is!) i haven’t had quite enough interest to enter a team yet so get back to me asap before all the places are gone. Check out this video series. The fundamentals of throwing are so important and these vids are a great resource. If you follow this advice and regularly practice these techniques over the summer you’ll be ready for next season with a full range of accurate, consistent and effective throws.

On a related note, now that the summer is here, I encourage all of you to play as much ultimate as you can over the next few months. Summer is the best time to play and there are plenty of opportunities: If you’re staying in London, Flump will be holding regular trainings in Hyde park. If you’re going back to your home town, wherever that may be, check out ukultimate.co.uk and find out if you have a local team to play/train with.
